At GTI Host, we aim to provide reliable, secure, and high-performance hosting services for all customers. While some hosting plans may be advertised as “Unlimited” or “Unmetered”, all services remain subject to fair usage standards designed to maintain server stability, security, and performance for all users.
By using GTI Host services, you agree to comply with this Unlimited & Fair Usage Policy.
This policy exists to:
Ensure fair allocation of server resources.
Maintain optimal server performance.
Prevent abuse of hosting infrastructure.
Protect all customers from service disruptions.
Define acceptable usage of unlimited hosting services.
“Unlimited” or “Unmetered” hosting refers to the absence of predefined quotas for normal website hosting operations.
Unlimited hosting does not mean:
Unlimited storage for backups.
Unlimited cloud storage.
Unlimited file sharing.
Unlimited video or media hosting.
Unlimited resource consumption.
Unlimited use that negatively impacts other customers.
All hosting services remain subject to fair usage limits and server resource availability.
GTI Host hosting services may be used for:
Business websites
Personal websites
Blogs
E-commerce stores
Portfolio websites
CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)
Web applications
Website-related databases
Business email hosting
Website-related images and media
All stored files must be directly related to the operation of an active website hosted with GTI Host.
The following limitations apply to all Shared Hosting, Cloud Hosting, and Managed WordPress Hosting plans.
Maximum storage limit is 50 GB per cPanel account, including:
Website files
SQL databases
Email accounts
Email attachments
Logs
Backups stored within the account
Storage is intended solely for hosting active websites and applications.
The following uses are prohibited:
Backup storage
Cloud storage
File storage services
Movie download websites
Software download websites
Archive repositories
File sharing platforms
Storage of ZIP, RAR, ISO, TAR, GZIP, backup files, or similar archives
Storage of large video collections unrelated to website functionality
Unlimited hosting applies only to website-related files such as:
HTML files
PHP files
CSS files
JavaScript files
Website images
Website databases
CMS files and plugins
Even on plans advertised as Unlimited, storage may not be used as unlimited online storage for:
Videos
Audio files
Movies
Games
Installers
Backups
Archives
Download repositories
Customers must not excessively consume:
CPU resources
RAM (Memory)
Disk I/O
Entry Processes
MySQL resources
Server processes
If resource usage negatively impacts other customers, GTI Host may require optimization, account suspension, or a plan upgrade.
The following limitations apply to all Reseller Hosting plans.
Maximum storage allocation per cPanel account is 50 GB, including:
Website files
SQL databases
Email accounts
Reseller customers may not use hosting accounts for:
Backup storage
Cloud storage
File sharing
Movie download websites
Software download websites
Archive storage
Storage of ZIP, ISO, RAR, backup, or similar files
Unlimited hosting is intended only for legitimate website hosting purposes.
Resellers are fully responsible for:
Their own accounts.
Their clients’ accounts.
Content hosted by their clients.
Resource usage of their clients.
Any violation by an end-user may be treated as a violation by the reseller account owner.
GTI Host does not impose fixed bandwidth limits for normal website operations.
However, the following are prohibited:
Public file mirrors
Large-scale file distribution
Torrent-related services
Bandwidth abuse
Proxy services
Network abuse
Content delivery services unrelated to hosted websites
Accounts generating excessive traffic that impacts network stability may be restricted or suspended.
Email services are intended for normal business and personal communication.
The following activities are prohibited:
Bulk emailing
Purchased mailing lists
Spam campaigns
Unsolicited marketing emails
Email bombing
Phishing emails
Fraudulent email activity
GTI Host reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in email abuse.
GTI Host actively monitors hosting environments for:
Malware
Viruses
Phishing content
Spam scripts
Hacked websites
Malicious software
If malicious content is detected:
Files may be quarantined.
Files may be automatically removed.
Services may be suspended.
Immediate action may be taken without prior notice.
These actions are necessary to protect server security and other customers on shared infrastructure.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their websites, applications, and passwords.
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
DDoS attacks
DDoS participation
Botnet activity
Network attacks
Port scanning
Unauthorized access attempts
Phishing websites
Malware distribution
Spam operations
Illegal content
Copyright infringement
Fraudulent activities
GTI Host reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate services involved in such activities.
The following services are not permitted on Shared Hosting or Reseller Hosting:
Video streaming platforms
IPTV services
Music streaming platforms
Live broadcasting services
Radio streaming services
High-bandwidth media delivery platforms
Customers requiring these services should use VPS or Dedicated Server solutions.
The following services are prohibited on Shared and Reseller Hosting:
Public VPN services
Open proxies
Anonymous proxies
Public tunneling services
Relay services
Business-related VPN usage may be permitted on VPS or Dedicated Servers subject to review and compliance requirements.
For non-critical resource violations:
Customer will receive a warning and be given 48 hours to resolve the issue.
Customer will receive a second warning and be given another 48 hours to resolve the issue.
Customer will receive a final warning and be given a further 48 hours to resolve the issue.
If the issue remains unresolved, the account may be suspended.
A final 24-hour grace period may be provided after suspension for corrective action.
If the issue remains unresolved after the suspension period, GTI Host reserves the right to terminate the account.
GTI Host may suspend an account immediately without prior notice if it is involved in:
DDoS attacks
Malware infections
Phishing activities
Spam campaigns
Security threats
Server abuse
Activities impacting server stability or network integrity
Immediate action may be taken to protect customers and infrastructure.
GTI Host may provide a backup before account termination where technically feasible.
However:
Backups are not guaranteed.
Customers remain solely responsible for maintaining their own backups.
GTI Host is not liable for data loss resulting from suspension, termination, hardware failure, software failure, hacking incidents, or customer actions.
Customers should maintain regular external backups of all data.
VPS and Dedicated Server customers receive dedicated resources and are responsible for:
Server security
Software updates
Backup management
Resource management
Compliance with applicable laws
GTI Host reserves the right to intervene only when activities threaten network security, server stability, or violate applicable laws.
GTI Host reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this policy at any time without prior notice.
The latest version will always be available on the GTI Host website and shall supersede all previous versions.
